Inspired by Grandmothers

I miss my Nanny (Grandma) so much. She passed away right before Christmas and I still think about her all the time. I especially remember the memories of the things we did together and I can imagine exactly what she would be wearing. I thought my Nanny always dressed so stylish. She always looked good and I think I get a lot of my love from fashion from her.

So, it’s no surprise that some of the pieces she used to wear are definitely in style right now. One of the looks that she used to wear often when she was going out was a boyfriend cut blazer, a sheer blouse, and a pair of linen pants or leggings. This is also one of my favorite looks right now as well.

I love the way these linen pants are cut to look so fitted.

Nanny would probably go with more of a flat shoe but I love these fun platform sandals or if you like the flat sandal look, I thought these were great too.

A little something extra:

I unfortunately never got to meet my other Grandma but I feel that she still inspires me. I didn’t even know it until my Mum told me but I swear by the same beauty products that she used to use. I’m a big fan of Nivea. My favorite products are NIVEA soft, which I even use on my face when my face feel extra dry at night, and I love the NIVEA body wash it’s so refreshing and helps keep my body extra moisturized. I love that we have the same taste in some of my favorite body products!
