David Beckham ~ First Look at His New Ad for H&M Bodywear

Since I’m such a fan of all things Victoria Beckham, I also don’t mind also seeing her hubby, and all things David Beckham. Today H&M released the ad for David Beckham’s new bodywear line.

David told Women’s Wear Daily “Over the past year, I’ve been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced. The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally.“

And in his statement from H&M

“Working with a team has always been a key part of my life and I found that to be the same when developing this range.

“Collectively with my design team we spent time working on the feel, fit and style to ensure the product is not only something I would wear but one which I would be proud to put my name to.

“I always want to challenge myself and this was such a rewarding experience for me. I’m very happy with the end result and I hope H&M’s male customers will be as excited as I am.”

Also adding that “(Victoria) lets me wear whatever I want to, but I definitely ask her for tips because it’s what she does. She’s great at dressing people. She loves her fashion, but most of the time it’s me.“

And he sure does get to wear anything he wants…

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, David Beckham’s ~~underwear~~ bodywear collection will be available in H&M stores on February 2nd. Well, I know what someone will be getting for Valentine’s Day this year.

In other news, the U.S. will be seeing a lot more of David Beckham since he turned down the offer to play for Paris to stay in L.A. Although he’s unsure of what his soccer future will be, David said they will stay in L.A. for family reasons.
