Fashion Night Out ~ At Nordstrom and The Shops at Northbridge

This year I celebrated Fashion Night Out last night with Nordstrom and The Shops at Northbridge in Chicago. I had a blast and I thought the Nordstrom fashion show was great. I took lots of pictures  and a video clip of the fashion show to share with all of you.

Walking into the event at Nordstrom at The Shops at Northbridge. We had just arrived and waiting in line to check into the VIP area.

After we checked in we were served Raspberry Absolute Vodka drinks with a splash of lemonade and sprite, garnished with blueberries, and they were delicious. Texas De Brazil had chicken and sausage appetizers to nosh on. Candyality, which is located in The Shops at Northbridge provided the desserts with create your own candy mixtures in cute martini glasses. I loved that as you picked out your treats Candyality could tell you about your personality from the candy you chose. I picked out various chocolates and gummies which means I am warm, kind-hearted, friendly, but I enjoy a challenge and I’m a go-getter. I like that!

If your wondering, my dress is from H&M. I have been finding so many great pieces at H&M lately.

Here I am waiting for the fashion show to start. We got a great swag bag with products from Nordstrom and other stores at The Shops at Northbridge along with a copy of Michigan Avenue Magazine. The beautiful Chicago native Jennifer Hudson is this month’s cover girl.

Here are some picture I took of the fashion show. Trends I saw for this year are stiletto ankle and shootie style boots, blazers, knit cardigans and ponchos, leggings, and tunic knit dresses.
