Breakfast With Gilt City Chicago

Yesterday, I meet the Gilt City Chicago team and had breakfast at the amazing Elysian Hotel in the Gold Coast. It was my first time there and the hotel was stunning. If you haven’t been you really need to go and see it for yourself.

I always really enjoy going to meet with anyone from the Gilt Groupe company, they are always so lovely and such a great group of people. I have probably been helping promote Gilt Groupe and the Skirt PR team, who are also all amazing, for over a year now.

The purpose of this breakfast was to chat with them about different shopping deals and events that are coming up in the next few months and for them to ask me what deals I think would be great to feature and what my readers really like.

I decided on the oatmeal with brown sugar and warm milk. It perfect for a cold day!

The chef also made especially for us (and I wish I had taken a photo) the breakfast pizza. It was delicious and it’s only available on the weekend. If you go there for brunch, I highly recommend it.

Over breakfast, I gave them a few ideas of what I like and what I would be interested having Gilt City Chicago feature over the next few months.
