AllSaints Spitalfield ~ Michigan Ave.
While on lunch, I decided to take a walk down Michigan Ave to take a look at British shop, AllSaints Spitalfield which opened its doors to the public today.

AllSaints flagship store located at 700 N. Michigan Ave.
My favorite thing about AllSaints is the amazing decor. Although a little dark, the storefront and displays are all all vintage along with 100′s of antique Singer sewing machines, wheels, and unique looking table displays. Definitely has that vibe of an old clothing manufacturer look. It’s very engaging and is sure to keep your attention while browsing the store.

If you are not familiar with AllSaints, they’re a British high street retailer which opened in 1994 selling highend men, women, and children clothing. The name comes from All Saints Road in Notting Hill, which is located in London.

You can find a few affordable pieces but you will see that most of the clothing is pretty expensive. But don’t be too discourage if you can’t drop almost $600 or a dress or $400 on a jacket, I’ve heard they have some great sales too!
As you walk around you will notice the style and vibe of their clothing is lots of leather, beading, and frills. This was my favorite dress from the store, the beading was gorgeous!

Love AllSaints: was just in their South Beach store on Lincoln Road last week. Great to see somewhat affordable cutting fashion on Michigan Ave. Hope they don’t “dumb down” the fashion.
Kelly: how did the fashions look: cutting edge Brit style or did they stock for the Midwest market?
Definitively cutting edge, a chic rocker style. I loved the detail on some of the dresses & tops, really great pieces. And, I loved the shoes, I need to go back and take another look.
Entering this store on Michigan Ave is like entering a piece of artwork. I was more impressed with the interior of the store than the clothing.
