Like most girls, I love the way my hair looks after I leave the salon. My hair is so soft and full, and as much as I try I can never do a good blowout myself. So, the idea of going to a place to get a quick blowout just as easy as getting a mani or pedi is amazing.

This style was mostly inspired by collections at Ann Taylor, Ivanka Trump, and Kendra Scott Jewelry. I love that their new collections for the summer are very sophisticated and classic. I find that as I get older, I notice my own style in going in that similar direction.

One of the easiest ways to do so is through your nail polish, and just recently NARS launched a brand new line of nail color in collaboration (and it’s first) with fashion designer Thakoon.

I love all these bright fun colors. Each color is named after an traditional Indian spice or herb that you would see at an Indian market. Anardana, a vivid pink, is a Hindi word for wild pomegranate seeds, Amchoor, which is the bright yellow, is named after dried ground mango. Another is  Lal Mirchi, named after chili peppers, the hottest spice on Earth.

Aren’t these colors amazing? They are perfect colors to wear all spring and summer long. You can shop for the whole collection here.

Speaking of Indian spices, this weekend I went and saw the movie The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel which was filmed in Jaipur, India. I really enjoyed it and I loved all the scenery. If you are interested in seeing great cinematography and just a good story about life, I really recommend going to see this movie.

I came across this picture of LeAnn Rimes while I was doing some searching for M2F Denim pictures for work. (LeAnn is wearing a pair of M2F skinny jeans in lavender.) She’s carrying a great summer tote with fringe that I actually kinda of like.
I just feel that the fringe would get in the way and after a few months I would be really tired it, and wouldn’t it get all dirty?

I unfortunately never got to meet my other Grandma but I feel that she still inspires me. I didn’t even know it until my Mum told me but I swear by the same beauty products that she used to use. I’m a big fan of Nivea. My favorite products are NIVEA soft, which I even use on my face when my face feel extra dry at night, and I love the NIVEA body wash it’s so refreshing and helps keep my body extra moisturized. I love that we have the same taste in some of my favorite body products!

I love these strappy platform sandals that I saw in an ad in my email this weekend. They are the perfect spring/summer sandal to wear with many of these fun skirts.
