Hi!

Shopping and fashion, traveling and cooking fun recipes are some big passions of mine. Does that mean that’s my whole life? Well, no. I have a full time job at an interactive marketing company in Chicago and I currently live in the city. My family, friends, and boyfriend are a huge part of my life. I love them and they make me who I am. I grew up in England until I was 7 and my Dad got transferred over to America. I do consider myself British and American because I have lived here for so long although I am proud of my English culture and still follow a lot of British traditions.

However, my passions are also a big part of me and I will tell you why. I can remember when I was a little girl always wearing dresses and loving clothes, looking in my Mum’s closet for stuff, and trying on her makeup. (She caught me once.) If I was outside playing whether it was in the yard digging and planting flowers, on the swings, or riding my bike I was wearing a dress and nice shoes. My Mum would always tell me “why don’t you put on some jeans and tennis shoes?” “Nope, I said I want to wear this dress.” I remember at an amusement park I was so upset because I got my dress all wet on water ride. But I wouldn’t listen I was just always so happy wearing my dresses. So yes, my whole life I have loved clothes and fashion.

As you will learn from my blog my biggest inspiration is Victoria Beckham. Since reading about her in a magazine before they were even in America (my Nanny in England sent me a magazine of them and their CD) I have thought she is one of the most fantastic and graceful people and I did get the chance to meet her in February 2008.

I also love to travel. I love flying; I think airports are so exciting. I love seeing new places, and experiencing new things. Plus staying in nice places is always a good thing! One other thing about me is I am not afraid to move around. When I was 3 I went to Portugal and to this day I can remember almost all of the vacation. I will tell my Mum and Dad things we did and they are shock I can remember that much. To this day if I close my eyes I can still picture it. So throughout my life I plan to do a lot of traveling.

I also enjoy cooking but I really like coming up with my own recipes. However every time I cook I always make such a mess and I don’t know why that is.

So that is a little insight to my life and who I am. I decided to create this blog because I want to start making some big life changes. I have so many ideas for things I want to do and I think now is the best time the ever to start doing them. I really want one day more then anything to open up my own boutique in Florida, so this is my first step is to write about all the things I enjoy about fashion and my love for traveling, cooking, and a few other things.
