If you didn’t hear, Victoria Beckham is launching a new clothing line later this year that will be for the young consumer featuring designs inspired by fictional cartoon character Emily the Strange. In this new collection you will also see lots of bright colors, looser silhouettes, and modern 60′s style.

Victoria decided to create this more girly-fun line because she’s been on the hunt for these kinds of dresses for herself.

She told WWD magazine she wanted, “The perfect little summer dress, something that was fun, something that was girly, something that was easy to wear, something that would take you from day through the night.”

Unlike celebs like Heidi Klum and Jennifer Lopez photographed at high profile events wearing her latest collections with this line Victoria said, ”I’m opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured…You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great,” said Victoria. This collection of dresses will range from $550- $900

A found this video from a few months ago; this little girl is interviewing Victoria as she talks about how she has always wanted to be a designer, really cute!

Designing this line while preggers with her first daughter, she assures us, “this will be most girly collection I’ve ever created.”

While this line is still out of what I can typically afford. I’m hoping this will further inspire Victoria to maybe do a collaboration with a clothing brand like Topshop. Now that would be amazing!
