Victoria Beckham Covers Harper’s Bazaar UK

My favorite gal graces yet another cover. Hitting newsstand on April 2nd, Victoria Beckham looking gorgeous as always, is the cover girl for UK’s Harper’s Bazaar. She’s talking about juggling her roles as fashion designer and super mum to three growing boys and new baby daughter Harper Seven. The theme of this cover shoot is 1950′s hollywood glam. Looks like we are both a fans of the 1950′s!

Here’s a sneak peek at the interview…

On her body:

“Maybe my tummy isn’t as tight as it used to be, but I’ve got four amazing kids, and that’s what really matters”

On sleeping next to David:

“Of course getting in to bed with David Beckham every night after having four kids, you know…[cue eye-roll of resigned self-deprication]- but I’ve come to the conclusion that David is getting older as well. I’m not trying to fight it.”

On winning her 2011 British Fashion Award for Designer Brand of the Year:

“When they read my name, I was genuinely not expecting it,” she says. “It was an out-of-body experience. “It was like my heart was going to jump out of my body. I came offstage and said, ‘I cried three times, I didn’t thank the people I wanted to thank, I was really rubbish’. “But I think people saw the real me – and the truth is, I would have felt much more comfortable in my pajamas with the kids and David in a hotel watching it on TV.”

On moving to Paris:

“It would have been great career-wise…but the kids are really happy in LA”

On her work:

“We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever and then I say ‘OK, I’m going to put it on. “I stand for the general public here. It’s how I work. I found it really difficult when I was pregnant and I couldn’t do that. “It’s part of the process – I’ll stand here in my knickers and start draping fabric over myself. It was very hard when I didn’t have my body.”

On her icon crush (Tilda Swinton):

“I’m absolutely blown away,” she shares. “Everything she does is genius. I’ve never met her, but everything she does — not just the hair, the makeup, the shows — everything about the brand impresses me.”
