The first time I heard that ZARA was coming to Michigan Avenue was about a year ago. I was really excited to hear this Spanish chain was coming to Chicago and I had heard nothing but great things about this store. Since it opened its doors to the public on Friday I made sure that Saturday morning I would be one of the first to walk in, beat the crowds so I could have a good look around.

On Thursday I had the chance to go to the Macy’s runway show and check out Spring 2010 collections. Even though it was pouring with rain no one seemed to mind as it was so much fun having fruity cocktails like The Catwalk and Pink Lemonade with strawberries and nosh on delicious appetizers.
As for the show, lots of fabulous new designers in Chicago as well as designers from Macy’s incubator collections. So check out who was there and what’s to come for Spring 2010.
