Who Knew That The Body Shop Had Such Great Skincare!

A few weeks ago I was invited to go get a mini facial at The Body Shop in Water Tower. I’m always looking for new products for my skin so I thought why not go and see what they had. Celebrity Esthetician Molly Walsh was there to do all the facials and she said she would help me put together the right products to keep my skin looking young, healthy, and fresh.

Of course I’ve known about The Body Shop and have brought a few products here and there. But I was really surprised to find what a great line of skincare products they really do have and that all their products are Earth-friendly, are all natural, and they are never tested on animals.

Molly told me that the best skincare for my face was Natrulift line with Pomegranate. I know that they are trying to sell you a product but I can honestly say my skin looked amazing after my facial!

Before it felt so dry and looked pale from the winter and I felt like using this product just one time had brought my skin back to life. My skin was so bright and was glowing and I didn’t even have any makeup on! I’m not trying to sound like a commercial at all but it really did look and feel great.

Lauren, who invited me to the event gave me a mini tour of the shop after my facial and showed me some other products that she thought I would be interested in. She lead me right to the makeup (my favorite!) I never knew that The Body Shop even had makeup. I’ve really only know them as just lotions but now I know that isn’t true at all.

Lauren was so sweet to let me pick out some fabulous makeup and said she was going to send me all my skincare products as well (which she did, thank you!).

I was also really interested to find out more about their campaigns they are involved in (like their campaign to stop sex trafficking of children and young people) and what they do be such a globally responsible company. As I read more, I’m now interested and I want to become a bigger supporter of their projects and campaigns.
