The Victoria Bag

I’m lovin’ this bag! It’s probably one of the best designed bags I’ve seen in awhile. Victoria always makes sure she designs everything with every women’s needs in mind and this bag has all that… rich color, sophisticated, great style, attractive, and practical. I can’t afford this price tag yet… but if anyone has seen a bag that looks similar to this, please let me know!
Is Draping Your Coat Over Your Shoulders The New Trend?
The last few weeks I’ve been seeing a few celebrities photographed wearing their winter coat just causally draped over their shoulders instead of actually wearing their coats in the freezing cold. Did I miss something? Is this a new trend? Have you been seeing people on the streets wearing their coats like this?
I’m heading back to freezing Chicago in a few days after a wonderful month in Florida and I keep forgetting that it’s actually winter. So, it will sadly be back to lots of layers and warm coats for me and I can’t imagine walking around with my coat like that. Brrrrr!

Of course Kim Kardashian and my fave Victoria Beckham both look amazing as always and I’m sure they don’t have to actually walk around much in the cold, but I bet they have to be cold. Well I guess, beauty is pain…or in this case… being glam, means being cold…
What do you think?
A Little Touch of Britain
Yep, a little touch of Britain…for those of you that follow my blog you know that I was born and raised in England.
As I get older, I realize how important my roots are to me. England is a huge part of who I am.
As I build my own home, I find myself wanting to have a few things around me that remind me of where I grew up so I thought it would be fun to put together a collage of a few British things that I would like for my home.

1. I would love to add this poster to the bedroom or even hang it in the bathroom, with a few soft white candles.
2. Such fun coasters! You can never have too many of these.
3. I love this decorative pillow, it would look great in our big leather chair.
4. I think this mug is so fun and perfect for me because I love hot chocolate.
5. I really enjoy my English tea so I’ve been looking for a tea canister for my kitchen and this one is perfect.
Share with me your favorite little touches that you have in your home.

Winter Trend: Feathers or Leather?
A huge trend this winter season are high waisted leather skirts and feather skirts. I love the leather skirts especially with a cute cashmere sweater and maybe a pair of bright blue heels. But I wasn’t sure at first about feather skirts…
but now I’m kinda liking them.

ASOS Pencil Skirt in Leather $158.31
Worthington Faux Leather Skirt $25.00
shop feather skirts:
ASOS Skirt in Feather and Lace $96.75
Arden B Scallop Feather Mini Skirt $79.00
So…what do ya think?
feathers or leather?
Victoria Beckham Covers Marie Claire Australia December 2012
Just saw this! Must have slipt right by me with all the holiday stuff going on around me. Loving this dress on Victoria. which looks like one of her own dresses. You don’t see brighter colors on her much so it’s nice to see her in a pretty holiday red.

Anyone overseas seen or read this month’s Marie Claire Australia?

Love love love Hayden Williams! I’ve been following all his amazing sketches for ages. Maybe you saw the interview I did with him here but I just knew then that this 21 year old was going places, and now it’s all happening for him.
He recently partnered with Sketch Streets and we got to vote for our favorite sketches that would turn into real pieces that we could all shop for. Well it was of course a huge success and sketch street decided to make the whole collection! But you gotta pre-order now so all the pieces can be made.
I’m just LOVING these pieces!
Good luck Hayden! I hope the pre-order goes amazing for you!
Holiday Giveaway Time ~ win a free at home spray tan!

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Samantha from Tantasy Tan to see if I was interested in getting an at home spray tan and then I could also give away a free spray tan to one of my Chicago readers. I thought that sounded like fun and I had never had a spray tan before (except for using the L’Oreal Self-Tanning Mist) and I definitely hadn’t had anyone come to my house to do one, so I was really excited.
I was little nervous to get almost all the way naked in front of someone but Samantha was so nice, and explained everything that she was going to do, and then we ended up chatting the whole time anyway, so it was really fun.
I looked so bronzed right away and I was nervous before I went to bed that I was way too tan for my skin and the bronze spray that washes off would be all over my white bedsheets sheets. But, the next morning my sheets were clean and when the bronze washed off I looked like a had a great summertime glow.
My number one tip for a spray tan would be to exfoliate really really well. Even exfoliate for a few days before you plan on getting your tan done because if you are like me and have fair skin and you don’t exfoliate well, it will look weird. Trust me, I didn’t do it as well as I should have and it looked a little weird on my feet and elbows so thank goodness it’s winter! But I have to say everywhere else looked really good and I LOVE being tan all over.
If you are in Chicago or the suburbs and looking for a great at home spray I would highly recommend using Tantasy Tan!
So, are you ready for a great giveaway????

* If you are in Chicago or in the Chicagoland suburbs you can win ONE at home spray tan just for you!
* To enter use the Rafflecopter giveaway form below and just follow me and Tantasy Tan on Twitter, and tweet the contest on Twitter!
* Winner will be announced on my blog on December 18th!

Chloe’ Studded Leather Boots ~ Get ‘em for Less!
Thanks again to Pinterest, I’ve came across another great shopping site. Have you guys heard of USTrendy.com? If you haven’t, you should definitely check it out, they have some really unique and cool things.
As I was browsing through their site I came across these really amazing boots and thought they looked really familiar… Well they do, they look very similar to a pair of Chloe’ studded boots that I saw months ago on Ring My Bell’s blog that are very nice and really expensive.
Obviously, the Chloe’ shoes are a little nicer, have a different sole and shape, and slightly different pattern but if you don’t want to spend over $1000 on a pair of shoes and you love the style of the Chloe’ boots than paying $72 for a similar pair is a great deal!
If you love ‘em, grab ‘em cos I have a feeling these will sell out fast.
Happy Shopping and Happy Weekend!
